On December 13, a leader of Nguyen Tat Thanh High School, Dak R'lap District (Dak Nong) confirmed that the unit had reported to the Department of Education and Training about the case of student T (class 10A3) who had an accident, suspected to be caused by exploding firecrackers.
According to the school leaders, initially the parents called the homeroom teacher to ask for permission for T to be absent from school. Later, after gathering information, the school learned that T had an accident, suspected to be caused by firecrackers.
The incident happened at T’s house in Hung Binh village, Dak R’lap district. At the time of the accident, T’s father was at home.
After a loud explosion suspected to be caused by firecrackers, T was seriously injured and received first aid and then transferred to Ho Chi Minh City for emergency treatment.
