On April 29, 2026, the Food Safety Steering Committee of Tan Hung ward organized a conference to launch the "Mess of Action for Food Safety" in 2026, implemented according to Plan No. 45 of the City Inter-sectoral Food Safety Steering Committee and Plan No. 143 of the Ward People's Committee.
Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Van Dan - Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Ward Food Safety Steering Committee; along with representatives of departments, branches, unions, police forces, educational institutions, residential groups and a large number of households producing and trading food and catering services in the area.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Dan emphasized that food safety is an important issue, directly affecting people's health and the sustainable development of society. Over the past time, food safety management in the area has had positive changes, but still faces many challenges when the number of food business establishments is increasing.
The Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee requested food production, processing, and business establishments to strictly comply with legal regulations, promote business ethics with the spirit of "food business is health business, ethical business"; absolutely do not use banned substances, dirty food, or food of unknown origin.

Functional forces are required to strengthen inspection and supervision, especially unscheduled inspections; promptly detect and strictly handle violations. At the same time, promote propaganda to raise people's awareness, become wise consumers, proactively choose safe food and promptly reflect violations.
Within the framework of the program, representatives of food service business establishments in the area signed commitments to strictly implement regulations on ensuring food safety in processing and serving.
Action Month for Food Safety" 2026 is a peak period to enhance the responsibility of all levels, sectors and the whole society, creating clear changes in awareness and action, contributing to building a safe food environment and protecting community health.
