On May 5, a video appeared on social media recording an electric taxi driver lowering the glass in the driver's seat, pointing his foot at the door and continuing to drive while participating in traffic.
The video shows this person driving a car from the Kim Cuc Roundabout intersection towards Tran Quoc Toan Street in Ho Xuan Huong (Da Lat City, Lam Dong).
At the time of the incident, there were many vehicles passing through the area, and the vehicles moved slowly.
On the same afternoon, a representative of Lado Company (headquartered in Da Lat City) confirmed that the person who opened the glass door and stood guard while driving a taxi was the company's contract driver.
"We have information about the incident. The driver is Hoang Van Toan (born in 1974). This person has a contract with the company. We have called up to work and will make a decision to fire him," said a representative of Lado Company.
According to a representative of Lado Company, the driver lowered the steering wheel, put his foot on the door and drove while the car was not carrying passengers.
However, this is an offensive act, causing danger, and disregarding the lives of traffic participants.
