On May 5, at Km116+800 National Highway 6, through Vo hamlet, Phu Cuong commune, Tan Lac district (Hoa Binh), a serious traffic accident occurred between a taxi and a truck, causing one person to die on the spot.
According to initial information, at around 7:55 a.m., a 4-seat taxi with license plate 26E-002.92 driven by Mr. Pham Ngoc T (born in 1975, residing in Loi Cau village, Viet Hoa commune, Khoai Chau district, Hung Yen province) was traveling from Hanoi to Son La.
When arriving at the above location, the vehicle suddenly collided with a truck with license plate 28C-043.24 driven by Mr. Bui Van D (born in 1980, residing in Vo hamlet, Phu Cuong commune, Tan Lac district) traveling in the front in the same direction.
The collision caused Mr. Pham Ngoc T to die on the spot.
Both vehicles were damaged, and traffic through the affected area was short-lived.
Immediately after the accident, the authorities were present at the scene to regulate traffic.
