On January 3rd, Long Xuyen Ward Police said that the Investigation Police Agency (CSDT) of An Giang Provincial Police had temporarily detained Ly Kim Trang (born in 1982, residing in Long Xuyen ward, An Giang province) to investigate the act of property theft.
Previously, Long Xuyen Ward Police received a report about property theft, which was a mobile phone, at An Giang General Hospital.
After receiving the report, the ward police force quickly went to the scene, investigated, verified, and quickly identified the suspect as Ly Kim Trang.
At the police station, Trang confessed that due to being short of money, she had the intention to steal a phone to sell to earn money to spend. Trang took advantage of the negligence of the patient and the patient's family to steal property.
