On July 10, Trung Tam Ward Police (Lao Cai province) said that the unit had issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against N.M. T. (born in 2007, residing in Nghia Loi residential group, Trung Tam ward) for the act of using e-cigarettes.
According to the decision, N.M. T. was fined 4 million VND. The violating exhibits were forced to be destroyed according to the provisions of law.
Trung Tam Ward Police said that recently, in Lao Cai province, there has been a situation of drugs "disguised" as electronic cigarette solution (essence oil) to approach teenagers.
This trick hides many risks, making users easily attracted, seriously affecting their health and potentially leading to illegal acts.
Faced with the above situation, the Central Ward Police recommends that people, especially teenagers, strictly comply with the provisions of law; do not use electronic cigarettes and new tobacco products.
At the same time, parents and schools need to strengthen management and propaganda to raise awareness, contributing to protecting their own health, family and community.
