On July 9, Son La Provincial Police said that Chieng Coi Ward Police had coordinated with the Traffic Police force to verify and summon a group of 4 young men who violated the Road Traffic Law after receiving images provided by people.
Through verification, the group of young people residing in Lun village, Chieng Coi ward, had the act of driving motorbikes without helmets. Among them, some cases also drove motorbikes with a cylinder capacity of over 50cm3 when they did not meet the regulations.
Based on the level of violation, functional forces have handled 3 cases for the offenses of not wearing helmets and people from 16 to under 18 years old driving motorbikes over 50cm3; one case did not violate, so it was not handled.
Chieng Coi Ward Police also organized education and requested violators to sign commitments to strictly comply with the provisions of law when participating in traffic.
