Speaking at the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Huu Ngoc - Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, assessed that in the first quarter of 2025, the culture, sports and tourism sector has protected and promoted the value of cultural heritage.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has developed 03 Decrees and 08 Circulars detailing the Law on Cultural Heritage 2024 and regulating the economic and technical norms for the list of public service in the field of cultural heritage to submit to the Prime Minister for decision.
Regarding the field of Cultural Heritage Protection and Promotion, 05 special national relics; 01 Plan for Conservation, Restoration and Restoration of relics; 05 tasks for developing a Plan for Conservation, Restoration and Restoration of relics have been approved.
The Ministry also issued 08 decisions on exploration and excavation of archaeology in localities; included 10 intangible cultural heritages in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List; recognized 33 national treasures (phase 13, 2024).
In the first quarter, the Department of Culture, Family and Library continued to coordinate with the National Assembly Committees to complete the Law Document amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Advertising.
At the same time, issue important action plans such as: 2025 Plan of the Central Steering Committee of the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life".
In addition, cultural and tourism activities will be organized during the 2025 United Nations Vesak Festival in Vietnam; National Library Staff Festival to promote the development of reading culture; The 7th Readership Culture Development Award Ceremony will be held.
The Vietnam National Cultural Department has organized events and cultural and tourism activities in the cultural and tourism village of Vietnamese ethnic groups every month with the theme "Spring in the village", "Spring in all regions of the country", "Youth with traditional culture". The number of visitors to the cultural and tourism village of Vietnamese ethnic groups in Quarter I/2025 is estimated at 140,000 visitors.

The Department also established the Art Council Council to evaluate the harmony and coordination of the National Anthem of Vietnam.
Regarding the field of copyright and cultural industry, the Ministry continues to develop a decree amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government's Decree No. 21/2015/ND-CP stipulating royalties and remuneration for film, art, photography, theater and other types of performing arts; The Decree replaces Decree No. 131/2013/ND-CP of the Government stipulating sanctioning administrative violations on copyright and related rights; "The strategy of developing Vietnamese cultural industries to 2030, vision to 2045"; The Prime Minister's Directive on the development of entertainment industries; The set of statistics on Vietnamese cultural industries.
Regarding the key tasks in the second quarter of 2025, Deputy Chief of Office Nguyen Huu Ngoc said that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism focuses on effectively organizing the implementation of tasks according to Resolutions No. 01 and 02/NQ-CP of the Government on socio-economic development and improving the business environment in 2025.
At the same time, complete projects, laws, decrees, and circulars according to the 2025 law-making program and perform tasks assigned by the Government and the Prime Minister.
The Ministry will also direct and coordinate the organization of propaganda activities to celebrate major holidays such as: 50 years of the Liberation of the South, 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, 100 years of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
