Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy won the Miss Vietnam 2022 contest.
Previously, she was crowned Miss Danang University 2021 and won the title of First Runner-up at the Miss Elegant Student Danang 2021 contest.
When she was crowned Miss Vietnam 2022, Thanh Thuy did not receive much attention from the audience. After that, she was less active than previous Miss Vietnams.
However, when participating in Miss International, Thanh Thuy received more attention from domestic and international audiences thanks to her beautiful appearance and education.
Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy - Vietnam's representative this year, is also the first Miss Vietnam to participate in Miss International.
When participating in the contest, the beauty queen continuously scored points from her neatness, beautiful appearance to her elegant demeanor, creating sympathy. On beauty forums, there was almost no negative information or controversy about this girl.
From the first days of arriving in Japan to participate in Miss International 2024, Thanh Thuy was praised for her skillful choice of costumes, makeup, and hair.

In the future, I also plan to learn Japanese because I love Japanese culture. The moment I saw a Japanese woman holding the Vietnamese flag in her hand, I was very touched and grateful."
In the final, she initially made the home audience burst into tears when her name was called into the top 20. She then continued to be called into the top 8.
The final 8 contestants participated in the behavioral and evening gown performances to select the new Miss and Runner-up.
During the response round, Thanh Thuy was asked the question: "What important global developments have influenced the education system of your generation?". She confidently answered in English without the help of an interpreter.
Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy shared: "I think it is the urgency of the global education system during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have to stay at home, study online. This is a change in the development trend of online education companies. And I hope students can explore learning opportunities through online education platforms. That supports sustainable development goal number 4: Quality education".
With good answers and excellent performance, Thanh Thuy was officially crowned Miss International 2024.
Miss International 2024 was first held in 1960 in the United States. In the contest, contestants are judged not only on beauty, but also on kindness, friendship, elegance, intelligence, initiative, and most importantly, sensitivity to world issues. The biggest criteria of this contest is to promote world peace, goodwill, and understanding.
