In the overall exhibition space, the photo collection of photographer Doan Cong Tinh and the works "GenZ tells stories through films" are present as emotional touches, where the past and present go hand in hand, dialogue.
Doan Cong Tinh's Imprint" and "GenZ tells stories through films" are considered quiet spots, where interacting elements are restrained to give way to depth of content.
Sharing about the goal of building an exhibition space connecting two generations, Ms. Mai Chi - Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee cum Head of the Event Department said: "From the beginning, the core message we aimed for was the intersection between time and generations. We want when entering this space, people can feel that film photography not only belongs to the past but is still being continued and developed by young people in the present".
Appearing in the display space is the collection of author Doan Cong Tinh, a photographer of the Vietnam People's Army. Thanks to his ability to grasp developments and record war moments in a timely manner, his works not only reflect the harsh reality, but also depict the spiritual life of soldiers through simple details.
In contrast to the flow of past memories, the works selected from the accompanying event "GenZ Through Film" open up a contemporary cross-section, reflecting how the younger generation approaches and tells stories through images. Through personality-rich frames, young authors have exploited close topics in their lives and shaped their own voices.

From war memories to contemporary perspectives, film photography becomes a common meeting point, where each era records and describes the world in its own way.
Besides the intersection between two generations, "Film Gap Thoi" also expands its scope with display sub-zones and many unique activities, contributing to honoring the persistent vitality and breakthrough transformation of film material over decades.
