On September 10, Cuu Long University had a working session with Ho Chi Minh City Book Distribution Joint Stock Company (FAHASA), exchanging cooperation contents in education, training, scientific research, reading culture development, digital transformation and human resource development.
At the working session, leaders of the two units agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, aiming to strengthen the connection between higher education institutions and businesses in many fields.
Accordingly, the two sides coordinate to develop, provide and exploit books, materials and learning resources for teaching, learning and research. Book introduction activities, book fairs, book exhibitions and reading promotion programs are also implemented for lecturers, students and the community.
In human resource training and development, the two sides coordinate to organize internship programs, vocational experiences and recruitment, creating more opportunities for students to access real working environments.
Scientific research activities, seminars, professional exchanges and innovation are also included in the cooperation content. The two units also coordinate on digital transformation, e-commerce, artificial intelligence application, data and appropriate technology solutions.
In addition, FAHASA and Cuu Long University will coordinate to implement student support programs, scholarships, community activities and social responsibility.
On this occasion, representatives of FAHASA leaders presented a bookcase to Cuu Long University with a total value of 50 million VND, contributing to supplementing the source of materials to serve the learning, research and reading needs of students and lecturers.
