On May 31, at Quynh Phuong beach, Quynh Mai ward, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment organized the Launching Ceremony of the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung - Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Mr. Ta Hong Son - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment; Mr. Ho Phuc Hai - Standing Deputy Secretary in charge of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Student Association of Nghe An province; Mr. Le Duc Sy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, along with leaders of units, delegates, companion units and more than 500 union members and youth in the province.

At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented many meaningful projects and gifts for children and people. Including a young bamboo shoot project worth 50 million VND, 12 water purifiers, 30 water tanks for border communes; presented "Youth Bookcases", environmental protection trash cans, national flags for fishermen sticking to the sea and many gifts for children in difficult circumstances.
Also within the framework of the program, the volunteer teams "Green Summer", "Red Flamboyant Flowers", "Red Holiday", "Green March", "Exam Season Support" were officially launched and received the flag of launching the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.
The campaign is an annual activity to promote the pioneering and voluntary role of Nghe An youth in participating in socio-economic development, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, protecting the environment, caring for children and supporting people in difficult areas.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, a large number of union members and youth participated in cleaning the beach and planting casuarina trees in response to the program "Youth Action for Climate - Joining Hands to Protect the Sea and Ocean".
