On December 14, Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association (Dak Lak province) informed that the unit had just organized the signing of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the trade of specialty coffee with Daegu Coffee Association (DCA, Korea). The event marks an important step forward in the process of bringing Vietnamese specialty coffee Robusta directly to the high-end specialty coffee consumption market in Korea.
Within this cooperation framework, Dak Lak 2-9 Import-Export Company Limited (Simexco Dak Lak) plays a key role as a unit managing, operating and coordinating the supply chain, connecting Vietnam's raw material areas with the ecosystem of roasting, distributing and consuming specialty coffee in Korea.

Simexco Dak Lak is responsible for managing raw material areas, tracing the origin, standardizing the quality of Vietnam Robusta specialty coffee, and coordinating trade and logistics activities, ensuring the synchronization and transparency of the supply chain from the farm to international markets.
Mr. Trinh Duc Minh - Chairman of Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association - said that this signing ceremony shows the increasingly clear recognition of the international coffee community for Vietnamese specialty Robusta.
Currently, we have truly attracted world coffee organizations as well as international enterprises to pay attention to Vietnamese specialty Robusta coffee. That is very meaningful because for a long time, the name "specialties" has been more often given to Arabica coffee, while Robusta has not been fairly recognized. The efforts in recent times have shown real results when the global specialty coffee community has begun to pay attention, evaluate and accept Vietnamese specialty Robusta, Mr. Minh emphasized.
In parallel with commercial activities, Simexco Dak Lak is a long-term companion and sponsor for the Vietnamese specialty coffee movement through close coordination with the Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Association in organizing and supporting the Vietnam Amazing Cup Special Coffee Competition.
With a wide market network in Europe, the US, Japan, Korea and many other countries, Simexco Dak Lak has been contributing to making Vietnamese specialty coffee available at international SCA exhibitions, barista competitions as well as in the global high-end coffee consumption system, gradually repositioning the image of Vietnamese coffee on the world map.
This signing ceremony is considered a strategic milestone, continuing to affirm Simexco Dak Lak's role as the focal point to lead the supply chain and strategic partner in the process of bringing Vietnamese Robusta specialty coffee to conquer the international market.

EDE FARM LLC, owner of the MISS EDE brand, is one of the parties signing the signing act as a bridge enterprise connecting Simexco Dak Lak with Korean partners, including Coffee Myungga and Daegu Coffee Association. Through this role, MISS EDE contributes to promoting substantive trade cooperation, transforming the supply of Vietnamese Robusta specialty coffee into specific products, consumption channels and cooperation activities in the Korean market.
