On July 14, at the Hoa Binh Commune Cultural House, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province organized the launching ceremony of the skillful mass mobilization model "Accompanying orphans" of Vinh Long province in 2026, aiming to connect organizations and individuals to sponsor and care for orphans in difficult circumstances.
According to the program, 20 orphaned children in difficult circumstances in Hoa Binh, Tra Con, Hieu Thanh and Hieu Phung communes are supported with 500,000 VND per month until they reach the age of 18 through opening savings books at the Social Policy Bank.
The funding for the model implementation is sponsored by Venerable Thich Chuc Quang, Phuoc An Monastery (Truong Tho hamlet, Hoa Binh commune). This is an activity that contributes to long-term care, creating conditions for children to feel secure in their studies and stabilize their lives.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuan Thanh - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - emphasized that the model contributes to concretizing the Party's policy on mass mobilization work, while mobilizing social resources to care for orphaned children in difficult circumstances.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuan Thanh respectfully thanked Venerable Thich Chuc Quang and organizations, individuals, and philanthropists for their companionship, and expressed her desire to continue to receive both material and spiritual support so that children can go to school, live in love and have a brighter future.
At the launching ceremony, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Venerable Thich Chuc Quang, along with leaders of the Association for Victims of Agent Orange/dioxin, Disability Support and Protection of Children's Rights of the province, and local leaders, presented many gifts, adding motivation to the children participating in the model.
