Just released from prison, the subject continued to commit 2 thefts in Hai Phong

    Hai Phong - In the afternoon of August 18, the City Police informed that Thanh Dong Ward Police had just clarified 2 property theft cases.

    Previously, on August 8, Thanh Dong Ward Police received a report from a resident about being broken into by thieves, stealing 1 mobile phone. On August 9, the Ward Police continued to receive a report about the theft of an electric motorbike worth about 12 million VND.

    Immediately after receiving the report, Thanh Dong Ward Police urgently deployed professional measures and quickly identified Nguyen Tien Dat (born in 1989, residing in Le Thanh Nghi ward) as the subject who committed both property thefts. Notably, the subject had just completed his prison sentence for property theft from June 2026.

    Nguyen Tien Dat came to Thanh Dong Ward Police to report and confessed to the act of property theft. Currently, the case is being investigated and handled according to legal regulations.
