On January 29 and 30, a delegation from the Technical Assurance Center (BĐKT), Naval Region 2, visited and presented gifts to children of fishermen sponsored by the unit in Ca Mau province, on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
Implementing the activity "The Navy sponsors fishermen's children", from 2023 to now, the BDKT Center has sponsored 5 children who are children of fishermen in difficult circumstances in Ganh Hao, Vinh Hau and Chau Thoi communes (Ca Mau province).
On the occasion of Binh Ngo Spring 2026, the working delegation directly visited the children's families, talked, grasped their circumstances, encouraged their spirit and presented financial support in the first quarter of 2026 with a level of 1.5 million VND/child; Tet Nguyen Dan Tet; supported 2 million VND/family and some necessities. At the same time, the working delegation presented gifts from the Command of Naval Region 2 worth 3 million VND/child. The total value of support and gifts is more than 40 million VND.
Sharing at the meeting, Ms. Pham Thi Be, mother of Nguyen Hoang Thinh, expressed her joy and emotion when the unit came to visit and give gifts right on the occasion of the traditional Tet holiday. According to Ms. Be, since being sponsored, Thinh has become happier, more obedient and makes more efforts in his studies, helping his family feel more secure in life.
