On May 30, Lang Biang Ward People's Committee - Da Lat said that through inspecting the environmental sanitation situation in the area, functional forces discovered 2 cases of littering in the wrong places at the Lam Dong Provincial Sports Complex.

Immediately after that, the violating individuals were invited to the Lang Biang Ward Police headquarters - Da Lat to work.
At the police station, the individuals admitted their violations and committed not to re-offend.
Based on the provisions of the law on environmental protection, Lang Biang Ward Police - Da Lat has made a record of administrative violations for each case with a fine of 1.5 million VND.

According to functional agencies, the act of littering indiscriminately not only causes environmental pollution, spoils urban aesthetics but can also lead to blockage of the drainage system; and at the same time leads to epidemics and directly affects community health.
According to current regulations, cases of littering domestic waste in the wrong places in public areas are strictly handled and forced to remedy the consequences.
Through the incident, the government of Lang Biang ward - Da Lat proposed that people raise awareness of environmental protection, litter in the right places; and at the same time propagate and remind relatives to comply to contribute to building a green, clean, beautiful environment and a civilized city.
