On May 4, Tan My Ward Police informed that they had made a record of administrative violations against two individuals for the act of littering in the wrong place in a public area.
Through the review of the security camera system on Nguyen Van Linh street (section passing through Tan My ward), functional forces discovered 2 cases of littering indiscriminately. Immediately after that, the violating individuals were invited to the Ward Police headquarters to work.
At the police station, these individuals admitted their violations and committed not to repeat them. Based on the provisions of the law on environmental protection, Tan My Ward Police made a record of administrative violation with a fine of 1.5 million VND per case.
Functional agencies believe that indiscriminate littering not only causes environmental pollution, spoils urban aesthetics but also leads to blockage of drainage systems, disease outbreaks and directly affects community health. According to current regulations, cases of littering domestic waste in the wrong places in public areas are strictly punished and forced to remedy the consequences.
Through this case, Tan My Ward Police requested people to raise awareness and implement littering in the right places. At the same time, each individual needs to actively propagate and remind relatives to comply with environmental hygiene regulations, contributing to building a green - clean - beautiful and civilized urban area.
