On June 15, Phuoc Hai Commune Police (HCMC) said that they had invited people to work and prepared a file to handle the person who threw garbage on the Phuoc Hai coastal embankment.
Previously, the area of Tran Hung Dao street along Phuoc Hai embankment often saw some people littering improperly. Through reviewing the security camera system, functional forces discovered a woman littering, so they invited her to Phuoc Hai Commune Police headquarters to work. Through this, the woman admitted her violation and committed not to repeat it.
Phuoc Hai Commune Police made a record of administrative violation, with a fine of 1.5 million VND according to the provisions of Decree No. 45/2022/ND-CP.
Phuoc Hai Commune Police requested people to raise awareness, not litter indiscriminately but implement littering in the right places. At the same time, the unit will continue to strengthen supervision, inspection, and strictly handle violations of environmental protection, contributing to building a civilized, safe, and sustainable living environment in the area.
