Handling 9 teenagers carrying weapons, showing off their "achievements" on social networks

    Son La - On October 25, Son La Provincial Police summoned 9 teenagers in Chieng Coi Ward carrying weapons, driving high-speed cars to film a clip and post it on TikTok to attract views.

    Previously, through monitoring on the internet, the authorities discovered that the TikTok account "Duc Chinh" often posted videos of a group of teenagers not wearing helmets, taking off their license plates, carrying weapons, driving motorbikes at high speed to film clips to show off their "achievements".

    The Traffic Police Department coordinated with Chieng Coi Ward Police and the Cyber Security and Crime Prevention Department using high technology to track down and summon 9 related subjects. This group all resides in Co Phung village, Chieng Coi ward, aged from 13 to 18 (born in 20072012).

    At the police station, teenagers confessed that they often gather late at night or early in the morning, race, and get lost on the National Highway 6 bypass (Hua La 5-way intersection area). When the authorities discovered the force, the group accelerated and ran away.

    Son La Provincial Police are consolidating the case file and handling it according to legal regulations.
