On July 21, An Bien Commune Police, An Giang province, said that they had issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against 2 subjects for the act of distributing advertising leaflets that affected the aesthetics, traffic safety and social order.
Previously, during patrols and inspections to ensure security and order in the area, the An Bien Commune Police force discovered and caught red-handed L.V.D, born in 1986, residing in Hai Phong city and D. P. D, born in 2001, residing in Dong Thai commune, An Giang province, in the act of distributing leaflets advertising installment loans.
Through inspection, the police force seized more than 2,000 leaflets with advertising content for installment loans and contact phone numbers. Based on the violations, An Bien Commune Police issued decisions to sanction administrative violations against both subjects, with a total amount of 3 million VND according to regulations on sanctioning administrative violations in the field of culture and advertising.
According to An Bien Commune Police, the situation of distributing and spreading leaflets advertising installment loans not only causes urban unsightliness, affects traffic safety and social order, but also poses potential risks related to black credit activities and other illegal acts.
An Bien Commune Police requests people when detecting cases of distributing and spreading illegal advertising leaflets or subjects coming to the locality to stay with suspicious signs, to promptly notify the nearest Police agency for inspection and handling according to regulations.
