What is the method of contributing trade union funds?

Clause 1, Article 4 of Decree 105/2026/ND-CP detailing and guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Trade Union Law on trade union finance (effective from June 15, 2026), stipulates the method of contributing trade union funds as follows:

a) Method of paying trade union dues once a month at the same time as compulsory social insurance for employees for:

Public non-business units do not receive 100% salary from the state budget (public non-business units self-guarantee regular and investment expenditures, public non-business units self-guarantee regular expenditures).

Public non-business units self-guarantee a part of regular expenditures.

Foreign agencies and organizations, international organizations operating in Vietnamese territory related to trade union organizations and activities, operating offices of foreign parties in business cooperation contracts in Vietnam using Vietnamese workers.

Agencies, organizations, other units, enterprises, cooperatives, cooperative unions.

b) Method of paying trade union dues once a month or once every 03 months along with the time of compulsory social insurance payment for employees based on registration with the trade union organization for:

Organizations and businesses in agriculture, forestry, fishery, and salt industry pay salaries according to the production and business cycle.

Thus, from June 15, 2026, the method of contributing trade union funds is regulated as above.
