Article 57 of Decree No. 37/2026/ND-CP detailing a number of articles and measures to organize and guide the implementation of the Law on Product and Goods Quality (effective from January 23, 2026) stipulates the criteria for considering awards for the National Quality Award as follows:
1. Products and goods of organizations and businesses participating in the National Quality Award are evaluated according to the following criteria:
a) Effectiveness and efficiency of the governance model of organizations and enterprises (in terms of leadership, strategy, customers, measurement, analysis and knowledge management, labor force, operation, and results);
b) Quality, level of reliability, superiority or uniqueness of products and goods.
2. The maximum total score of these criteria is 1,000 points.
3. Detailed content and methods of evaluation and scoring of each criterion and scoring methods for each detailed content of each criterion are guided by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Thus, from January 23, 2026, the National Quality Award will be awarded based on the criteria specified above.
