When will the certificate of a driving practice teacher be revoked?

Clause 1, Article 14 of Decree No. 94/2026/ND-CP stipulating training and testing activities for drivers (effective from July 1, 2026) stipulates the revocation of certificates for driving practice teachers as follows:

1. The certificate of a driving practice teacher is revoked in the following cases:

a) Having fraudulent acts to participate in training and testing to obtain a certificate of driving practice teacher;

b) Issuing to people who do not meet one of the standards specified in Clause 2, Article 10 of this Decree;

c) Issued by an agency or person without authority;

d) Being erased or repaired;

e) Leasing to other training institutions for use or leasing to other organizations and individuals for use.

Clause 2, Article 10 of Decree No. 94/2026/ND-CP stipulates the standards for driving teachers as follows:

a) Diploma in vocational secondary school or vocational secondary school or professional degree or higher;

b) Having a driver's license of the corresponding class or higher than the training vehicle class;

c) Having one of the following diplomas or certificates on pedagogical professional qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in teacher training or higher; Diploma from pedagogical college, pedagogical technical college.

Pedagogical certificate of vocational training teaching elementary vocational level; Pedagogical professional certificate teaching elementary level; Pedagogical fostering certificate level 1 or higher;

d) Having been trained in driving practice according to the framework program specified in Appendix II attached to this Decree.

Thus, from July 1, 2026, the certificate of a driving practice teacher may be revoked in the cases specified above.
