Article 7, Decree 265/2026/ND-CP stipulates penalties for administrative violations in the field of thrift and anti-wastefulness (effective from July 1, 2026) stipulates the time limit and content of reporting on the results of thrift and anti-wastefulness work as follows:

1. A warning shall be imposed for the act of reporting the results of thrift and waste prevention work less than 15 days late than the prescribed time limit.

2. Fines for the act of reporting the results of thrift and waste prevention work not on time as prescribed:

a) A fine of between 3 million VND and 5 million VND shall be imposed for the act of reporting the results of thrift and waste prevention work late compared to the prescribed time limit from 15 days to less than 30 days;

b) A fine of between 10 million VND and 15 million VND shall be imposed for the act of not reporting on the results of thrift and anti-wastefulness work or reporting on the results of thrift and anti-wastefulness work late compared to the prescribed deadline of 30 days or more.

Thus, from July 1, 2026, reporting savings and waste prevention results not on time may be fined up to 15 million VND.
