Like every year, Tet Van Loc 2025 will feature the participation of domestic and overseas singers, bringing performances rich in artistry and warm with love for the homeland and nation.
With the theme “Songs for Life”, General Director Nguyen Cong Vuong said: “Having an annual theme that is suitable for the social context as well as the vibrant artistic activities in the country is something that the program makers consider very carefully.
The crew edited and invited the voices that have been with us through the years, from the days of war and up to now, those voices still resound like the sacred spirit of the mountains and rivers. In addition, the program also invited singers, the next generation, to sing lyrical songs that remember the past.
Tet Van Loc 2025 is divided into 3 chapters: Going with the years, A time to remember and Late spring. General director Nguyen Cong Vuong continues to weave cheo and quan ho performances into Tet Van Loc.
This year, Professor, record holder, artist Chu Bao Que and the Time Stream group performed the song "Cha" - an ancient quan ho song, with elaborate investment; People's Artist Thuy Huong and artist Thuy Hang - Head of the UNESCO Vietnam Art Troupe brought the spring atmosphere through the quan ho song "Thuyen mo lai cheo".
For the first time, Tet Van Loc 2025 will feature the participation of People's Artist Trung Duc, People's Artist Quang Tho and a duet between People's Artist Thu Hien and People's Artist Thanh Hoa.Notably, these four veteran artists will sing together the song "Quang Binh, my homeland".
Director Nguyen Cong Vuong will bring the comedy "Spring in the foreign land" which he himself wrote the script for.As someone who is always concerned with the beauty and traditional culture of the nation, always thinking about the roots, almost every year, the comedy skits written and directed by Nguyen Cong Vuong focus on the feelings of those who live far away from home.
“As Tet approaches, all of us are filled with emotions. Even though we work halfway around the world, the image of our hometown is always present. Everyone longs to return home, gather with their family, visit relatives and neighbors...
The play is like the voice of those who live far away from home, always missing their homeland. That is also the sacred feeling of human beings", director Nguyen Cong Vuong shared.
Director Nguyen Cong Vuong added that this year, when storm No. 3 (Yagi) devastated the North, we once again saw the eternal Vietnamese national spirit of "helping each other", but there were also cases of misplaced charity, showing off, and promoting oneself.
Therefore, he brought the comedy "Kindness from the Heart" with the participation of Meritorious Artist Chi Trung, Meritorious Artist Quang Teo, Bao Chung, Chien Thang, Xuan Nghia, Van Anh... to convey the message that loving the right person at the right time will bring true value through the humorous language of art.
The art show also marks the 20th anniversary of Golden Smile Entertainment's program production.
