The incident occurred on the afternoon of March 31 in the coastal area of Tan Phuoc commune, La Gi town, Binh Thuan province.
At that time, Mr. V.D.M.D (born in 2006, residing in La Gi town) drowned at sea. Discovering the incident, some people shouted and searched for people to rescue them.
A moment later, the victim was rescued to shore, given first aid and taken to La Gi Regional General Hospital for emergency care. However, Mr. D died.
After receiving the report, the authorities arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation into the incident.
