After passing the group stage in second place in Group B, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team will face Indonesia in the semi-finals of SEA V.Cup 2026. The match takes place at 7:00 PM and is considered the highlight of the competition day on July 25th.
Coach Federico Rampazzo's team qualified for the semi-finals after a 3-0 victory over Myanmar in the last round of the group stage. Previously, the Vietnamese team lost to Thailand 2-3, thereby closing the group stage in second place. The opponent Indonesia topped Group A after overcoming the Philippines and host Cambodia.
The remaining semi-final at 3:30 PM is the clash between Cambodia and Thailand. Cambodia continues to show stable form after winning the first leg championship and is expected to create more surprises against the most successful team in the region.
Meanwhile, Thailand is still considered a strong candidate thanks to its balanced force and international competition experience.
Previously, at 1:00 PM, the Philippines met Myanmar in the 5th place match. This is an opportunity for both teams to close the stage with a positive result after failing to be in the medal-selling group.
