On the side of Trade Union University, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Manh Hung - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Rector of Trade Union University...
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Manh Hung emphasized that the graduation certificate is a recognition of the learning, research and training efforts of learners, but not the ultimate destination.
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Manh Hung, in this graduation phase, Trade Union University recognized the graduation of 1,856 new bachelors, 6 new masters and 6 new doctors. This is the result of the will, determination, persistence and aspiration to rise up of learners; and at the same time is the result of the dedication of the teaching staff and the companionship and sacrifice of families throughout the learning process.
The Rector of the University of Labor and Social Affairs believes that, from the lecture hall to life, new bachelors, new masters and new doctors will face a larger "lecture hall", where there are no fixed lesson plans or unique answers, but always requiring a spirit of learning, adaptability and responsibility to the community.
We are living in an era of strong transformation by science and technology, artificial intelligence, big data and digital transformation. No knowledge can be enough for a lifetime if people stop learning; no skills can be sustainable if people stop training; and no success can be long-lasting without a foundation of ethics, honesty and dedication," Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Manh Hung emphasized.
He hopes that new graduates will enter life with the confidence of youth, the aspiration to establish themselves and their careers, but still maintain humility to learn, kindness in behavior and bravery to overcome challenges. The important thing is not only what profession to do or what position to hold, but to create practical values for the family, agency, community and country.
For new masters, the Rector expects them to become experts, managers with innovative thinking, strategic thinking, knowing how to transform knowledge into action, contributing to solving practical problems of agencies, businesses and society.
With new doctors, he emphasized the responsibility of scientists to be loyal to the truth, respect academic standards, persistently create and spread knowledge. According to him, the doctorate degree is not only the highest degree but also a great responsibility to society.
The Rector of the University of Labor and Social Affairs also expressed his wish that, no matter what position they will hold in the future, alumni will always preserve the values that the school has nurtured, including the spirit of humanity, sense of responsibility, aspiration to rise up and belief in the power of knowledge.
