This weekend, the Vietnam women's volleyball team will participate in the VTV Cup 2025 annual international tournament. The AVC Nations Cup championship not long ago was the motivation for coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team to continue conquering the gold medal.
In this year's tournament, the Vietnam women's volleyball team is in Group A with the Philippines, Australia and the Fourloves Club (China). Meanwhile, Group B has the presence of U21 Vietnam, Korabelka Club (Russia), Taiwan (China) and U21 Thailand.
According to the match schedule, the Vietnam women's volleyball team will meet Australia in the opening match at 7:30 p.m. on June 28. Thanh Thuy and her teammates will then face the Philippines at 19:00 on June 29 and Sichuan (China) at 19:00 on July 1.
Before the tournament, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet affirmed: "For any tournament, we require players to focus and be ready for each match. No opponent is easy and we want to have the best experience, we must first prepare carefully".
