Vietnam women's volleyball team will train in Japan ahead of 33rd SEA Games

The Vietnamese women's volleyball team is scheduled to have a 25-day training trip in Japan to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games.

According to the plan of the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV), the Vietnam women's volleyball team will have a 25-day training trip in Japan right after the end of the second phase of the 2025 national championship.

This is a necessary preparation for coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team to practice their expertise and competition mentality before competing in the 33rd SEA Games at the end of this year.

Choosing Japan - the country with the top volleyball in Asia as a training destination is a suitable strategy. Vietnamese athletes not only have the opportunity to compete with many highly skilled teams but also experience a professional, scientific and modern training environment.

Under the guidance of the coaching staff, Thanh Thuy and her teammates will focus on perfecting tactical techniques, improving their physical strength and enhancing their ability to coordinate competition.

This training trip is also of great significance in terms of spirit. After many consecutive SEA Games missed the gold medal, Vietnamese women's volleyball is receiving high expectations from fans in conquering the top of the region.

Not long ago, the Vietnam women's volleyball team successfully defended their AVC Nations Cup 2025 championship. In addition, the whole team is preparing to participate in the VTV Cup 2025 international tournament as well as the world championship in September.

These are all important stepping steps for the "gold hunting" journey of the national women's team at the 33rd SEA Games.
