On the morning of September 23, in Hanoi, the 1st National Fatherland Front Party Congress (VFF), Central organizations for the 2025-2030 term held an official working session.
The congress was attended by 346 delegates, excellent party members, typical of intelligence, will, aspiration to rise up and the strength of great solidarity, representing nearly 5,200 party members of the Party Committee.
Comrade Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front delivered the opening speech of the congress.
According to comrade Do Van Chien, by August 25, 2025, 25 grassroots and superior party committees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and central organizations had completed the congress, ensuring progress and quality according to the direction of the Politburo.
With the consent of the Politburo and the Secretariat, today, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations solemnly held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.
Comrade Do Van Chien stated that this is a congress of very important political significance, not only laying the foundation for the leadership of the Party Committee for this term but also orienting the leadership of the Party Committee in the following terms.
The Congress of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions for the 2025-2030 term is the first Congress to implement the new model, comprehensively leading the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and people's organizations.
With the theme: "Building a clean and strong Party Committee; strongly innovating thinking and leadership methods; gathering and mobilizing all classes of people to promote democracy and the strength of national solidarity, united and joined hands to enter an era of developing a rich, prosperous, civilized and happy country". The Congress is nhiem vu:
First, comprehensively and deeply evaluate the results of implementing the Resolution of the Congress for the 2020-2025 term; determine the direction, goals, and tasks for the 2025-2030 term.
Second, review the leadership and direction of the Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Third, discuss and contribute opinions on the draft Documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party.
Fourth, implementing the Politburo's decisions on personnel work.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Creativity - Innovation - Development", comrade Do Van Chien suggested that delegates attending the Congress promote democracy, focus their intelligence, discuss enthusiastically, and contribute many valid opinions to the draft documents submitted to the Congress and the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress.
Especially the contents related to innovation of the content of the Party Committee's leadership methods; the content of the action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.
Comrade Do Van Chien noted the need to thoroughly grasp and implement the guiding ideology of General Secretary To Lam when presenting the decision to establish the Party Committee and establish the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front: "the new model must have new thinking, new ways of doing things, and create new results".
With the special attention and close direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat, headed by General Secretary To Lam, we believe that the first Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations will be a great success in the 2025-2030 term, said Comrade Do Van Chien.
Comrade Do Van Chien also emphasized that the Congress will set out directions, goals, tasks, and key solutions, comprehensively leading and directing the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State.
At the same time, it will play a good role in the political core, promote the people's mastery, consolidate, enhance, and promote the tradition and strength of national solidarity; unite, join hands, and realize the aspiration to build our country to develop richly, prosperously, civilizedly, and happily.
