On the afternoon of October 11, a working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) led by Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - visited and presented gifts to people affected by floods in Kep commune, Bac Ninh province.
Accompanying her was Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province.
According to the report of Kep commune, as of noon on October 11, the impact of storm No. 11 had caused a lot of damage. The water level of the Thuong River rose, households around the riverbank area were flooded, causing isolation in Truong Thinh, Ben Luong, Ngoc Son, Tan Thinh, Doi But, Phan Thuong, Viet Huong, Phu Loi, Canh Phuong, Chi Meu villages.
The whole commune has 432 households with more than 1,200 people having to be relocated on the spot and more than 70 households with more than 200 people having to relocate people and property to other places to ensure safety. Regarding agriculture, the whole commune has 134 hectares of rice and dozens of hectares of crops and seafood flooded. Currently, the locality is focusing on overcoming the consequences of floods and rains, soon stabilizing people's lives.
Visiting households affected by floods, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga kindly asked about the lives and health of the people, shared the difficulties that local people are facing; and acknowledged the efforts of the government and functional forces in urgently supporting and helping people overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will synthesize the damage situation in localities to report to the leaders of the Party and State, thereby having timely support plans to help localities soon overcome the consequences of floods. We request that localities urgently support people to overcome the consequences, clean up their houses, disinfect and disinfect, and ensure safety and stability in their lives after natural disasters, Ms. Ha Thi Nga emphasized.
