Khanh Hoa - Police have just received a thank-you letter from Ms. Le Thi Mung after being supported to receive back 400 million VND mistakenly transferred.

On March 26, the Economic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said that the unit had just received a thank-you letter from Ms. Le Thi Mung (47 years old, residing in Trieu Son commune, Thanh Hoa province) after being supported to receive back 400 million VND mistakenly transferred.

In the letter, Ms. Mung expressed her emotion when the entire amount of money was quickly recovered: "It is surprising and touching, in less than 6 hours on the same day, thanks to the sophistication and high sense of responsibility of the comrades, the entire amount of 400 million VND of mine has been recovered and fully refunded.

According to Ms. Mung, the timely action of the police force not only helps protect property but also leaves a deep impression of the image of a People's Police soldier who is "brave, professionally skilled and always wholeheartedly for the people".

Previously, on February 25, Ms. Mung made a transaction through a banking application and mistakenly transferred 400 million VND to the account of Ms. Vasileva Elena (Russian nationality, temporarily residing in Bac Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province).

After discovering the mistake, on February 26, Ms. Mung filed a report to the Economic Police Department of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police.

Upon receiving information, the unit proactively coordinated with relevant parties to urgently verify and clarify the incident.

In the afternoon of the same day, the police agency worked with Ms. Vasileva Elena, and at the same time propagated and disseminated legal regulations and mobilized for the return of the mistakenly transferred money.

On the same day, February 26, Ms. Vasileva Elena returned the entire amount of 400 million VND to Ms. Mung in the presence of functional agencies.
