To ensure that the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term takes place safely, democratically, and in accordance with the law, Gia Lai province synchronously deploys tasks according to schedule, closely following legal regulations, requiring strictness in each stage, and clear responsibility at each level.
In Nhon Chau commune - the only island commune of the province, completely isolated from the mainland - the conditions for organizing elections all depend on sea routes. Therefore, the preparation stages from printing documents, transporting ballots to building security and order assurance plans are all carefully prepared.

Mr. Duong Hiep Hung - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Election Committee (UBBC) of Nhon Chau commune - said that through review, the whole commune has 1,881 voters; 3/3 electoral units have completed listing voters' lists in accordance with regulations. The UBBC of the commune has directed election teams to receive people's opinions, coordinate with the Commune Police to update and adjust the list to be close to reality, avoiding omissions or duplication.
To ensure the voting rights of fishermen going to sea for long days, the locality proactively makes a list, announces the election date March 15th for people to arrange a sea trip back to participate in voting. Many workers have taken advantage of returning to their localities, completing their civic obligations before continuing to go to sea.
In Vinh Thinh commune, Mr. Huynh Duc Bao - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the Commune People's Committee - said that the locality has nearly 8,000 voters, with 6 electoral units, 16 constituencies in 16 polling areas.
Preparations are being carried out thoroughly; a plan to ensure the safety of the election is specifically built. The list of voters and summary biographies of candidates are publicly posted according to regulations.

These days, the Bang village community activity house (Ia Chia commune) is always open for people to check and compare information in the voter list.
Mr. Ro Cham Oal (resident of Bang village), shared: "Voting is not only a right but also a duty. I will go to the polls on time and mobilize my relatives to fully participate, choosing people with virtue, talent, and enthusiasm to care for the people.
The Ia Chia Commune People's Committee was established with 17 members and sub-committees to assist. The locality established 6 commune People's Council election committees with 54 members and 6 election groups for the 16th National Assembly, People's Council deputies at all levels with 126 members, ensuring the correct structure and time according to regulations.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoa - Chairman of the Commune People's Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ia Chia commune - said that the locality is continuing to review and prepare sufficient facilities, update voter lists, regularly announce the date, time, and location of voting; and at the same time provide professional training for election teams to ensure that the election takes place in accordance with procedures and laws.

In order to ensure the correct implementation of the schedule and set requirements, the Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Council organized the supervision of the implementation of election work in the area. 5 supervisory teams worked from March 9 to March 2 in communes and wards.

The list of voters and the list of candidates are publicly posted at the commune-level People's Committee headquarters and polling areas on time, creating conditions for voters to monitor and supervise.
Propaganda work has been strengthened, focusing on clarifying the purpose and meaning of the election; the rights and obligations of citizens; regulations on candidacy and election, thereby raising awareness and political responsibility of voters.
