On the afternoon of June 30, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung - Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province visited, encouraged and presented support of 45 million VND from the Provincial Relief Fund to 3 families whose fishing boats were burned in Tan An village, Quynh Phu commune.
Accordingly, each family is supported with 15 million VND to share immediate difficulties after the fire caused great damage.
At the visit, leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province encouraged families to soon stabilize their lives, overcome the consequences, restore production activities, and continue to reach out to sea and stick to the sea.
The timely attention and support of provincial leaders and local authorities is considered a great source of spiritual encouragement for fishermen when the estimated damage is nearly 5 billion VND.

Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, on the morning of the same day, a fire occurred in Tan An village, Quynh Phu commune, causing 3 fishing boats anchored to catch fire fiercely.
Immediately after receiving the news, police, military, border guard, militia forces, local authorities and a large number of people quickly arrived at the scene, coordinated to deploy firefighting, protect the scene and implement damage reduction measures.
By noon on June 30, the fire was controlled. The incident did not cause any casualties but seriously damaged 3 fishing boats, with total estimated damage of nearly 5 billion VND.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and clarified by functional agencies.
