On the morning of June 30, due to the impact of heavy rain, at Km63+100 on National Highway 70, the section passing through Bao Ai commune (Lao Cai province) appeared localized flooding, causing difficulties for traffic and potential traffic unsafety risks.
Immediately upon grasping the situation, the Km28 working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 5 (Lao Cai Provincial Traffic Police Department) quickly arrived at the scene, coordinating with Bao Ai Commune Police to implement measures to ensure traffic order and safety.
Officers and soldiers organize traffic diversion from afar, directly command traffic, and guide vehicles to move through flooded areas in batches.

Thanks to the proactiveness of functional forces, traffic on National Highway 70 was maintained smoothly, without prolonged congestion or unfortunate incidents.
After the rain subsided, the water in the flooded area receded, and vehicles returned to normal traffic.
The Traffic Police force recommends that people regularly update weather information; limit moving through deeply flooded areas when not really necessary.
At the same time, prolonged heavy rain on the night of June 29 also caused flooding in many areas in Muong Khuong commune.
Floodwaters flooded into people's houses, affecting people's property and daily life, especially in Na Khui, Ma Tuyen villages and some low-lying areas.

On the same night, Muong Khuong Commune People's Committee directed the Economic Department, Commune Police and local security forces to urgently go to the scene to support people in responding to floods.
The forces have helped people move property to safe places, clear waterways, clear mud, sanitize the environment and overcome initial damage.
The work of reviewing, statistically analyzing damage and supporting people to stabilize their lives is continuing to be implemented.
