On the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Complete Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026) and International Labor Day May 1, on the morning of April 28, continuing his working trip to Can Tho, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to policy households, poor households, workers, and elderly people in difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee emphasized that the gifts presented today contain deep feelings and gratitude from the Party and State leaders to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the Fatherland; to the working class, trade union members, and workers who are working day and night, creating, as well as caring for families who are still facing many difficulties. At the same time, he affirmed that the Party and State always remember, cherish and appreciate those noble silent contributions and sacrifices.



At the program, Party and State leaders, Can Tho City presented 50 gifts to policy households, poor households, workers, and elderly people in difficult circumstances in Binh Thuy ward. Each gift is worth 2,500,000 VND (including: 2,000,000 VND in cash and a gift bag worth 500,000 VND).
Previously, the working delegation visited the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Huynh Thi Lanh; visited the family of Major General Le Xa Hoi (commonly known as Chin Hoi), former Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of Military Region 9.
