On April 24, Standing Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan signed and issued a plan on organizing fireworks displays in the political art program "Echoes of the Fatherland" in Hanoi Capital.
According to the plan, the activities are to celebrate the success of the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026); 140th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2026), 72nd anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2026), 136th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026) and 67th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Trail Opening Day, Truong Son Soldiers Traditional Day (May 19, 1959 - May 19, 2026).
The fireworks display point is located in the My Dinh National Stadium area and F1 race track (Tu Liem ward).
In which, fireworks are arranged on the roof of stand B; high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks are arranged in the F1 race area.
The number of fireworks includes 900 high-altitude fireworks, 60 low-altitude fireworks platforms and 60 fireworks platforms with flower sprayers.
The expected firing time starts from 8:10 PM on April 28, 2026 and lasts according to the script of the art program "Echoes of the Fatherland".
