On April 24, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province organized a seminar with the theme "Improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in the province".
The seminar was chaired by Ms. Tran Thu Mai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
At the seminar, delegates focused on presenting papers, analyzing and evaluating the current situation of supervision and social criticism.
At the same time, propose many solutions to improve the quality and efficiency of this activity in the current period.
Some opinions also shared experiences in gathering the intelligence of experts and scientists to participate in criticism.
Many specific solutions are proposed such as: Reviewing, amending, supplementing or building new regulations to fully institutionalize rights, responsibilities, and public service regimes; building appropriate mechanisms and policies to encourage experts, intellectuals, entrepreneurs and experienced people to participate in criticism.
Delegates also proposed to soon advise the Provincial Party Committee to issue specific regulations on the supervision and social criticism work of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations.
In addition, strengthening coordination between state agencies and the Fatherland Front, especially in the process of drafting and issuing documents, is identified as an important factor.
The content of criticism needs to focus on major guidelines and policies, issues directly related to the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of the people, and issues of public concern.
In addition, the opinions also proposed to focus on equipping skills, improving capacity, bravery, and professional skills for the team of officials working in supervision and social criticism.
At the same time, establish a mechanism to monitor and urge the implementation of recommendations after feedback.
Concluding, Ms. Tran Thu Mai highly appreciated the heartfelt opinions, new and feasible solutions raised at the seminar.
To make the work of supervision and social criticism increasingly in-depth and effective, she proposed that in the coming time, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations continue to proactively research and select important and practical contents and issues for people's lives to implement.
At the same time, it is necessary to record and fully summarize the opinions to complete the Project "Improving the quality of social supervision and criticism of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations", ensuring compliance with the actual situation of the province.
