Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung re-elects as Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union

On the afternoon of November 27, at the Vietnam - Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, the 17th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi, term 2025 - 2030, held a spring session, with the participation of 435 official delegates.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Nguyen Tien Hung emphasized: After 16 Congresses, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi is always proud to be the origin of many major revolutionary action movements with the influence of spreading, encouraging young people across the country to enthusiastically join the army, protect the peace, independence and freedom of the Fatherland; shock and volunteer to participate in building and developing the Capital and the country to become increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and modern.

During the previous term, the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement of the capital had positive and clear changes in many aspects. In particular, the Youth Union organization is increasingly consolidated, contributing to building and forming a new generation of young people in the capital with interiority, intelligence, great ambition, talent, intelligence, ethics; aspiration, dream, confidently master science and technology and most importantly, patriotism, ready to commit and contribute to the community.

In the context of the strong rise of the capital Hanoi, affirming its position as a major center of politics, economy, culture, education and innovation, the capital's youth need to make continuous efforts, contribute their youth, focus their intelligence to build activities with depth, innovation, creativity and strive to achieve outstanding and practical results.

With the spirit of: "Aspiration in development, Creativity in practice, Pioneering in action", the 17th Congress objectively and comprehensively assessed the achieved results as well as the limitations and shortcomings; drew lessons from the implementation of the Resolution of the 16th City Youth Union Congress; thereby determined the goals, directions and tasks of the Youth Union and the Capital's youth movement for the 2025 - 2030 term...

The Congress also approved the Working Program, the Working Regulations of the Congress; reported the results of the examination of the status of delegates; review report of the Executive Committee of the 16th Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi...

Next, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi City, term XVII, 2025 - 2030, including 54 comrades; elected the Official Delegation to attend the 13th National Youth Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031, including 37 comrades.

At the first conference, the Executive Committee of the 17th Hanoi Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City elected 17 comrades to the Standing Committee of the 17th Hanoi Youth Union.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, term XVI, continues to be re-elected as Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, term XVII, 2025 - 2030. Mr. Tran Quang Hung and Mr. Dao Duc Viet continue to re-elect the Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, term XVII.
