On August 18, the Hai Ba Trung Ward Party Committee held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term, with the participation of 226 official delegates, representing 6,323 Party members in the entire Ward Party Committee.
The political report clearly states the goal in the 2025-2030 term of the Hai Ba Trung Ward Party Committee, striving to become a bright spot in urban order and civilization by 2030; by 2045, becoming a sustainable and modern development ward, contributing positively to the capital.
Regarding development targets until 2030, the Congress unanimously approved 19 targets, divided into 3 main groups. At the same time, the Congress identified 4 key groups of tasks and focused on 3 breakthroughs in the 2025-2030 term. That is a breakthrough in building and managing synchronous, green, smart, and modern urban infrastructure; promoting economic development associated with promoting cultural values and historical relics.
Along with that is a breakthrough in promoting administrative reform, restructuring and streamlining the apparatus associated with building a digital government and comprehensive digital transformation. Breakthrough in improving the quality of the staff; strive to have a team of staff proficient in using information technology to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation by the end of the term.
Speaking at the Congress, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Nguyen Lan Huong suggested that Hai Ba Trung ward focus all efforts to create stronger changes in the work of building and rectifying the Party, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and the Party members.
At the same time, innovate the leadership and management methods of Party committees, authorities and activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations that are truly close to the people and close to the people, serving the people better.
Continue to innovate in personnel work; build a streamlined, strong, efficient, effective and efficient apparatus; build a united, aspirational collective, strive to fulfill all assigned tasks well.
Focus on leading the task of economic development, exploiting the maximum advantages, promoting private economic development, promoting rapid, sustainable economic development in harmony with socio-cultural development. Strengthen planning, renovation, and management of historic inner-city urban areas; pay attention to doing a good job of preserving and promoting valuable cultural, architectural, and landscape heritages in the area.
The leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the ward's socio-political organizations have innovated the content and methods of operation in accordance with the new organizational model of socio-political organizations and mass organizations under the Front and operating relatively independently, promoting democracy and the strength of the great national unity bloc, and the people's mastery.
The Congress listened to a report summarizing comments on the draft documents of the 14th Party Congress and the draft documents of the 18th City Party Congress.
At the same time, the Decision to appoint the Party Executive Committee (including 22 comrades), the Standing Committee; Secretary, Deputy Secretary; Party Inspection Committee, term 2025-2030 was announced; the Decision to appoint delegates to attend the 18th City Party Congress, term 2025-2030, including 5 official delegates was announced.
Ms. Chu Hong Minh (former Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union) was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Hai Ba Trung Ward Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
