The Congress was attended by Mr. Nguyen Thai Hoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions; Le Minh Ngan - Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee; and 300 outstanding delegates representing all classes, classes and people of all ethnic groups in the province.
With the motto "Solidarity - democracy - innovation - development", the congress set out general goals, 15 specific target groups, 2 breakthrough tasks and 6 Action Programs.
The Congress unanimously elected 111 comrades to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the 14th Province, term 2025 - 2030.
At the first conference, 100% of members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the 14th Province, term 2025 - 2030, voted unanimously to elect Mr. Sung A Ho - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the 14th Province to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee includes comrades: Tong Thanh Binh, Ngo Thi Bich Hanh, Vu Thi Mai Dinh, Mua A Tra, Vuong Duc Loi, Hoang Kieu Anh.
The Congress also agreed to unanimously elect a delegation to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026 - 2031 term, consisting of 12 official delegates and 2 absent delegates.
Responding to the emulation movement of the whole country joining hands to "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lai Chau province has organized propaganda and mobilized all classes of people, businesses, and philanthropists.
Accordingly, as of August 31, 2025, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations at all levels have mobilized 403 billion VND in support.
This impressive figure has directly contributed to the goal of eliminating 7,383 temporary and dilapidated houses in Lai Chau province, reaching 100% of the set plan.
