On September 24, news from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Lam commune said that it had organized visits and gifts for 650 ethnic minority children, children in difficult circumstances, belonging to poor and near-poor households and children being cared for and nurtured at social protection facilities in the area.
On September 22nd and 23rd, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Lam commune visited and presented gifts to children being cared for and nurtured at 3 social protection facilities in the area, including Hope Shelter, Thua Sai Shelter and Thanh Son Pagoda.
The delegation also visited, encouraged and presented Mid-Autumn gifts to children in Dong Cau, Lap Dinh 2, Cuu Loi 3 and Trung Hiep villages.
At the places visited, leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Lam commune visited, encouraged and wished the children a happy and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival. The children were able to sing Mid-Autumn songs together, enjoy lion dance performances and receive gifts and Mid-Autumn lanterns.
The total cost of gifts is 36.5 million VND, mobilized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cam Lam commune from agencies, organizations, individuals and philanthropists in the area.
Visiting and giving gifts on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival shows the concern and care of the Party, State, Fatherland Front and the whole society for ethnic minority children, especially children in difficult circumstances. Thereby, contributing to creating conditions for them to celebrate a joyful and warm Mid-Autumn Festival, and at the same time encouraging them to rise up in their studies and life.
