Storm No. 2 Noul has strengthened to level 12, gusting to level 15. Forecast for the next 24 hours, the storm will gradually weaken and enter the mainland of Guangdong province (China).

Latest update from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, at 13:00 on July 25, the center of storm No. 2 Noul was located at about 21.5 degrees North latitude - 116.8 degrees East longitude, over the sea area northeast of the Northern East Sea, about 330km east-southeast of Hong Kong (China). The strongest wind near the storm center is strong at level 12 (118-133 km/h), gusting at level 15. The storm moves in a Northwest direction at a speed of about 25 km/h.

Forecast for the next 12 hours, the storm will move in a Northwest direction at a speed of about 20 km/h. By 1 am on July 26, the storm's center will be located at about 22.6 degrees North latitude - 115.3 degrees East longitude; over the coastal sea area of southern Guangdong province (China). Wind intensity is strong at level 12, gusts at level 15.

Forecast for the next 24 hours, the storm will move in a North-Northwest direction, speed 15-20 km/h and gradually weaken. By 13:00 on July 26, the storm's center will be located at about 23.9 degrees North latitude - 114.1 degrees East longitude; on land south of Guangdong province (China). Wind intensity is strong at level 10, gusts at level 12.

Forecast for the next 48 hours, the storm will continue to move in the North-Northwest direction at a speed of 15-20 km/h. The intensity gradually weakens into a tropical depression, followed by a low pressure area below level 6. By 13:00 on July 27, the center of the low pressure area will be located at about 27.3 degrees North latitude - 113.1 degrees East longitude, on land in Hunan province (China).

Regarding the impact of the storm, storm No. 2 mainly moves in the West-Northwest direction and makes landfall in Guangdong province (China), with little possibility of directly affecting the mainland of Vietnam. At sea, the northeastern sea area of the Northern East Sea has strong winds of level 8 - 10, waves 4 - 6m high; the area near the storm center is strong at level 11 - 12, gusts of level 15, waves 6 - 8m high. The sea is very rough.

Ships operating in the above-mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by thunderstorms, tornadoes, strong winds, and large waves.
