Updated bulletin issued at 10:30 am on September 16 from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the past 24 hours (from 10:00 am on September 15 to 10:00 am on September 16), the areas of Son La, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces have had heavy rain, with very heavy rain in some places such as Muong Men 106mm (Son La); Mien Doi (Quy Hoa) 185mm (Phu Tho); Suoi Bu 152mm (Lao Cai); Dao Vien 109mm (Tuyen Quang); Quan Chu 128mm (Thai Nguyen); Yen Lap 132mm (Quang Ninh); Yen Thang 236mm (Thanh Hoa); Nong truong 15 404mm (Nghe An)...

The soil moisture model shows that some areas in the above provinces have been near saturation (over 85%) or reached saturation status.

Warning in the next 6 hours, the above provinces will continue to have rain with accumulated rainfall commonly in Son La 10 - 20mm, in some places over 50mm; Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang and Thai Nguyen 20 - 40mm, in some places over 60mm; Phu Tho 20 - 40mm, in some places over 70mm; Quang Ninh 20 - 40mm, in some places over 80mm; Thanh Hoa 30 - 50mm, in some places over 100mm; Nghe An 20 - 30mm, in some places over 60mm.
