On the afternoon of June 21, the National Press Festival 2026 with the theme "Vietnamese Press - Loyalty, Creativity, Responsibility in the New Era" officially closed after 3 days of exciting activities with many professional, nghiệp vụ and meaningful cultural exchanges.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi - Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association - affirmed that the 2026 National Press Festival has completed the entire program and set goals, leaving many deep impressions in the hearts of journalists and the public nationwide.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi, this year's Press Festival is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 101st anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2026), and also an opportunity for journalists to thoroughly grasp and bring the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party into the practice of press activities.
The 2026 National Press Festival gathers 87 booths designed modernly and synchronously, introducing achievements and typical journalistic products of central and local press agencies, journalist associations at all levels and press training institutions. The booths vividly reflect the development of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism associated with the trend of digital transformation and the application of new technologies.

The highlight of this year's Press Festival is the National Press Forum with 11 working sessions including the plenary session, the closing session and in-depth discussion sessions. Many issues were frankly discussed by journalists and experts such as arranging and streamlining press agencies, developing the press economy, policy communication in localities and adapting to the digital media environment.
In addition to professional activities, many side programs such as the 2026 Open Singing Contest for Journalists and incense offering activities have contributed to strengthening cohesion and spreading professional pride among journalists.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 57 "Special Impressive Booth" awards and 46 "Special Impressive Press Products" awards in various types of journalism.

Lao Dong Newspaper was awarded the C Award in the "Special Impressive Exhibition Pavilion" category and the Consolation Award in the "Special Impressive Press Products" category, recognizing the efforts of innovation and creativity in press activities and communication work.
Closing after 3 days of operation, the 2026 National Press Festival continues to affirm its role as a major festival for journalists nationwide, contributing to promoting the development of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism in the new era.
