The activity is in response to the launching ceremony "All people participate in environmental protection for a bright - green - clean - beautiful Vietnam" of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, taking place at 6:00 a.m. on August 23, 2025. This is also a practical activity towards the 80th Anniversary of National Day on September 2 and in response to the Campaign to Make the World cleaner in 2025.
The city has launched a general cleaning campaign in residential areas, headquarters, production and business establishments, peaking on weekends. Movements such as "Plastic waste treatment", "Green - Clean - Beautiful Sunday", "No plastic bag use day" will be promoted in the community and businesses.
The City People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over the propaganda. The Department of Agriculture and Environment is responsible for monitoring, synthesizing and reporting the results to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment before October 10, 2025.
