The Northern region and Thanh Hoa are forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 10 - 30mm, locally heavy rain over 50mm. Rain concentrates in the late afternoon, night and early morning.

The area from Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri has moderate rain and scattered thunderstorms with rainfall of 20 - 50mm, locally heavy to very heavy rain over 100mm.

The Central Highlands and Southern regions have showers and scattered thunderstorms with rainfall of 15 - 30mm, locally heavy rain over 60mm. Rain concentrates in the late afternoon and night.

In thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Warning level of natural disaster risk due to tornadoes, lightning, hail is level 1.

Rainstorms accompanied by tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind can affect agricultural production, causing trees to fall, damage to houses, traffic works, and infrastructure.
