The area from Ha Tinh to Da Nang city, the east of the provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa from December 25 to December 26, is forecast to have rain, moderate rain, locally heavy rain to very heavy rain and thunderstorms with common rainfall from 30-70mm, locally over 120mm.
Localized heavy rains are likely to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.
